Starting Pitcher -- Phil Hughes
Neither team's starter has done terribly well this season, but both Hughes and Doubront seem to be moving in the right direction of late. Since imploding dramatically against the Royals and Mariners, Hughes has held opponents to three runs in thirteen innings. Foe Doubront, it's been three starts with just two earned runs a piece. He even put together some decent peripherals in his last outing, which had escaped him before.
Add to that the fact that the Red Sox are banged up and the Yankees just getting healthy, and it wouldn't be surprising to see what looks like a mediocre pitching matchup result in precious few runs. Then again, with this being Red Sox - Yankees, anything can happen.
