Starting Pitcher -- Scott Kazmir
With a 6.35 ERA, Scott Kazmir still seems a shadow of his old self. It's possible, though, that there's still something there. He's just a few games removed from a tremendous performance against the Athletics. That one night has skewed his peripherals on the season somewhat, but it's still worth noting that he's got a decent 4.03 xFIP on the year. Then again, Fenway is not exactly where you want to go to get your home runs under control...
On the other hand, there's Jon Lester, who needs to bounce back from a bad night in Chicago. He was good in his first outing against Cleveland this year, but the Indians are looking like a different team right now. Hopefully he'll pitch as well at home as he has so far this year.
