The Red Sox will turn to Clay Buchholz to pick them up and put them back on the right track against the Chicago White Sox.
While the series is already lost, a two-game losing streak is not terribly significant in the bigger scheme of things. Being swept by a sub-.500 team would not be the best way to come off the five-game win streak that they entered Chicago with particularly given appearances from Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz.
If the Red Sox are going to avoid that particular fate, they're going to need the same lineup that found itself held without by Jose Quintana a hit for most of last night's game to score against Hector Santiago.
