Usually by this point, ten games into the Grapefruit League schedule, we would have seen every starting pitcher at least once. This year, however, thanks to a minor shoulder injury, Felix Doubront has been held back. Today that changes. The left-hander will get his first start of the year Tuesday afternoon as the Red Sox welcome the Rays into Jet Blue Park.

Starting Pitcher -- Felix Doubront
With just 1.5 starters, it's not the most impressive of lineups, no. Still, there are at least some interesting dynamics, with Ryan Sweeney and Mike Carp (and maybe Pedro Ciriaco and Brock Holt) providing some positional battle flavor to the affair.
The real focus, though, will be on Felix Doubront. 2013 is going to be a big year for him one way or another. The question is will it bring an improved Doubront--one who has learned how to pitch rather than just throw--or will he still struggle with efficiency and force the Red Sox to consider other options? He could be exactly what the rotation needs, or he could be just another problem without an obvious solution.
