The Red Sox' lineup is broken, but on Tuesday it was the least broken it's been in a while. So I guess it makes some sense just to leave it largely untouched.
The only difference between a straight copy-paste of the two batting orders is that Dustin Pedroia will now be batting second instead of third, and vice-versa for Jacoby Ellsbury. Why not?
Now that the streak is reset to zero, this game feels much less important. Win one, lose one, it's all the same right about now. Just so long as there's no more lose sevens mixed in.
