So it was a pretty quiet weekend here in Boston, eh? All sarcasm aside, the obvious storyline coming out of this weekend was the mega-deal pulled off between the Dodgers and the Red Sox that sent Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto and cash to L.A. in exchange for James Loney, Ivan De Jesus, Allen Webster, and two players to be named later who will end up being Rubby de la Rosa and Jerry Sands. Obviously, this a move that resonated not only in Boston and L.A, but throughout the baseball world. Here are a whole bunch of links breaking down the move.
