I guess there's a limit to the number of times you can say "We're baaaack!!!" and really mean it. So in that sense, we're back as much as we can be back. Due to a family vacation me and my recording equipment have been jaunting around the countryside attending family events and, occasionally, sneaking out to see a ballgame or two. But mostly the first (though a few of the second). And yet, something was missing.
So, after a multi-week hiatus, Marc Normandin and Matt Kory are back to their podcasting thing. Yes, it's the OTM Podcast, which is also back. Talk of the Red Sox is also also back. So are bad jokes, technical problems, and unnecessary talk of cat boxes. Yes, it's really your same old OTM Podcast. Nothing has changed, though now we're sponsored by Global Death Oil, the little oil company with the silly name.
This week we're finishing up talk of the Red Sox recent draft. We delve into the reasons behind the picks and highlighting a few of the more promising picks themselves, such as Deven Marrero, Nathan "MUSTACHE OF DEATH!!!" Minnich, and Ty Buttery. Then we discuss the Red Sox potential short-term move to a six man rotation. Who should throw when? Is a temporary six man rotation a slippery slope to a regular six man rotation?
It's not bad, it's ok, it's the 56th OTM Podcast!
You can subscribe to and/or download the podcast at iTunes and/or listen and/or download at our hosting site, Podomatic. Email us with media inquires and marriage proposals at OTMPodcast@gmail.com. Thanks as always to Kahoots, the official band of the OTM Podcast, and of course thanks to you for listening.
PS - Here's the Izzy Alcantara video showing Alcantara kicking the catcher, not in the chest, but in the face. Point, Kory!
