Red Sox closer Andrew Bailey won't be able to fulfill that duty for the first three-to-four months of the season, as he is undergoing surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his thumb. The injury likely occurred after a collision with Alex Presly of the Pirates at first base, and has kept Bailey from pitching for over a week now.

With Bailey out for such a significant chunk of time, the Red Sox are going to need a different pitcher from the bullpen to assume the role of closer. They have multiple options for the job, and their bullpen just might be deep enough to get by without Bailey, even if the obvious preference is to have Andrew Bailey, not be without him.

Who could close for the Red Sox is the topic du jour for the latest YouTube video from Over the Monster's official YouTube channel. As always, you can find past YouTube videos on the right sidebar of the front page of OTM, or at our YouTube channel. Video after the jump.
