Game 18: Chicago!

Oh it's just been a wonderful day of bad news. Lars is in left, Carl Crawford is three months out, and I'm fairly sure that if I just refresh Twitter I'm about to discover that Fenway Park has been burned to the ground by arsonist dogs.

Knock wood.

Still, just in pure terms of how things are going right now...it's not been bad. Three straight in Minnesota, good hitting...same problems as always, but at least now the games are falling into the win column, and who knows? Maybe the Sox can work some of the kinks out without falling too far behind in the standings.

Oh, Lord, I've gotten too hopeful. I've set myself up for the fall.
