The season is three weeks old and over the last 30 hours as of this writing the Red Sox have 30 percent of their total wins. Better late than never... I guess?

According to Mike Aviles, David Ortiz should, "keep his head up." Things will go his way soon enough. David Ortiz is hitting .444. (Brian MacPherson; The Providence Journal)

Yesterday, Marc talked about the Red Sox decision to move Triple A starter Alex Wilson to the bullpen possibly in preparation for a move up to Boston. Aaron Goldsmith, who does radio for the Paw Sox, talked to Wilson about the move. (Aaron Goldsmith; 45 Miles From Fenway)

While the Red Sox pitching staff is struggling, Aaron Cook is tearing it up down in Triple A Pawtucket. But here's the thing: he can opt out of his contract at the end of the month if the Red Sox don't call him up by then. (Matt Huegel; Sox Prospects)

According to Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe, "David Ortiz called Dustin Pedroia "a [really bad word] chihuahua" before the game." Also something about other stuff. (Peter Abraham; Extra Bases)

The news off the field for the Red Sox isn't great. Carl Crawford is having a "second opinion" on his elbow. What was the first opinion? "Looks like a knee to me." (Mike Axisa; MLB Trade Rumors)

The Red Sox aren't the only ones with injury issues. The Yankees Michael Pineda has yet to throw a pitch and is seeing multiple doctors. Not a good sign. (Drew Silva; Hardball Talk)

Adrian Gonzalez isn't off to the hottest of starts, but he's doing leaps and bounds better than newest Angel Albert Pujols. Pujols has been the central star of baseball over the last five years due to so many skills it's nuts. But are those skills regressing? (Sam Miller; Baseball Prospectus [free!])

I don't know how I missed this, but apologies for doing so. OTM's Cee Angi gave her own perspective on the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park. (Cee Angi; The Platoon Advantage)

How much stock can you put into April performances? Not a whole lot. (Patrick Gordon; Beyond the Box Score)

Finally, ow. (Scott Lewis; The Score's Getting Blanked)
