Game 144: History, Please Don't Repeat

About 5 months ago, the Red Sox 2-7, and welcoming a Rays team that was doing slightly worse than them into Fenway Park.

A few days later and they were 2-9

The Red Sox, at the moment, are 3-7 over their last ten games. Now they have to head down to Tampa to give the Rays another chance to deal them a blow that, while not by any means fatal (hard to be when the Sox will leave the series with a multi-game lead no matter what), would be entirely discouraging.

Oh, and they won't have to face Kevin Youkilis either. Joy!
