Game 139: Wherein Conor Jackson Starts

He's not Eric Patterson, but he's as close as we're getting this year.

Interestingly, he'll be playing right field instead of Darnell McDonald against southpaw Matt Harrison. Does this represent a long-term changing of the "vs. LHP" depth chart? We'll see.

Lineup

Boston Red Sox TEXAS RANGERS
Jacoby Ellsbury - CF Ian Kinsler - 2B
Dustin Pedroia - 2B Elvis Andrus - SS
Adrian Gonzalez - 1B Josh Hamilton - LF
Kevin Youkilis - 3B Michael Young - 3B
David Ortiz - DH Adrian Beltre - DH
Conor Jackson - RF David Murphy - RF
Carl Crawford - LF Mike Napoli - C
Jarrod Saltalamacchia - C Mitch Moreland - 1B
Marco Scutaro - SS Endy Chavez - CF

They'll have John Lackey on the mound. It's been a while since he's had a really good start, but he's also avoided disaster for the last couple of months.

The same can not be said for Matt Harrison. In his last start he gave up seven runs in five innings...to the Red Sox.
