The Sox have rather quietly lost three of their last four games, which is exactly the sort of thing we'd rather not see after that long period of .500 baseball seemed finally to be over.
The good news is that we've got a completely full lineup for today, and are up against a pitcher they put up a good few runs on not that long ago. The bad news is that Erik Bedard is on the mound, so something has to go wrong, at least long enough to keep him from the win.
