Game 114: Lowrie Back, Wakefield Hoping Third Time Is A Charm In Minnesota

After taking two of three games from the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox hope to increase their lead in the A.L. East as they travel to Minnesota to face the Twins for three games. Tonight's Red Sox starter will be going for history (again) tonight.

Pitching tonight for the Red Sox on Monday night will be the knuckle ball throwing Tim Wakefield, who will be gunning for win number 200 for a third time. Wakefield was denied of number 200 against Cleveland, when he was pulled after six and two thirds innings after just surrendering three earned runs on five hits. Wake is a career 14-7 with a 4.54 ERA against Minnesota.
