Game 110: Erik Bedard Makes His Red Sox Debut Against Indians

After winning two straight games via Jacoby Ellsbury walkoff hits, the Boston Red Sox look to win their third consecutive game and clinch the four-game series against the Cleveland Indians. There will be a new face that will take the mound for Boston this evening.

Pitching for the Red Sox this evening will be left-hander Erik Bedard, who was acquired from the Seattle Mariners at the trade deadline. In his last start with the Mariners against Tampa Bay, Bedard pitched one and a third innings and gave up five earned runs on three hits. To be fair, Bedard was returning from a long stint on the disabled list. In his career against the Indians, Bedard is 2-2 with a 4.44 ERA in 10 starts.
