Game 129: One Last Injury Game?

Ellsbury and Ortiz may be back tomorrow, but for tonight, at least, it's going to be McDonald and Lavarnway instead of the two All-Stars.

Or, rather, Reddick and Lavarnway, since with a lefty on the mound, chances are McDonald would be in the starting nine anyways.

Unfortunately, because of this our lineup doesn't really stand up to the Rangers' nearly as well as it would on a normal day.

Lineup

Boston red sox Texas Rangers
Marco Scutaro - SS Ian Kinsler - 2B
Darnell McDonald - CF Elvis Andrus - SS
Adrian Gonzalez - 1B Josh Hamilton - LF
Dustin Pedroia - 2B Michael Young - 3B
Jed Lowrie - 3B Nelson Cruz - RF
Ryan Lavarnway - DH Mike Napoli - C
Carl Crawford - LF Mitch Moreland - 1B
Jarrod Saltalamacchia - C Yorvit Torrealba - DH
Josh Reddick - RF Craig Gentry - CF

Hopefully Erik Bedard will finally have an uneventful start--some good offense, no shoddy defense, and a reasonable strike zone from the home plate umpire.

C.J. Wilson...well, he's pretty good. And a lefty. That's about all that really needs to be said for him tonight.
