After splitting a four-game series with the Kansas City Royals, the Boston Red Sox head west to Chicago where they will open up a three-game weekend series with the Chicago White Sox. It's pretty clear that all of our attention will be on one fellow this evening.

|2011 - Tim Wakefield||6-3||22||13||0||0||0||0||92.2||98||61||53||15||28||47||5.15||1.36|
Pitching for the Red Sox this evening and going for win number 200 on his career will be the 44-year old knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. Wakefield recorded win number 199 on his career last week against the Mariners despite giving up seven earned runs on ten hits over six and third innings. Wakefield has been so-so against the White Sox in his career, he's 7-12 with a 4.97 ERA against them.

|2011 - Gavin Floyd||8-9||20||19||1||0||0||0||127.0||121||61||58||13||31||90||4.11||1.20|
Looking to stop Wakefield in his tracks will be right hander Gavin Floyd, looking for win number nine on the season. In his outing, Floyd pitched seven and two thirds of shutout ball; giving up only four hits in a win over the Indians. Floyd has had the Red Sox' number in his career; he's a career 5-0 with a 3.83 ERA. Here is the Red Sox lineup that he will do battle with this evening (out in full force tonight):
1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
5. Josh Reddick, RF
6. Carl Crawford, LF
7. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
8. Drew Sutton, 3B
9. Marco Scutaro, SS
Carl Crawford will be making his return to the lineup tonight after sitting out the past two games with a left elbow strain. With a righty, Terry Francona doesn't hesitate to use Josh Reddick instead of Darnell McDonald or Yamaico Navarro. With this lineup, it gives the Red Sox the best chance to put up a lot of runs for Wakefield this evening. Let's see if they can give him just enough.
-EDIT- Adrian Gonzalez is a late scratch tonight with a stiff neck. Drew Sutton takes over at third for Kevin Youkilis, who shifts to first.
Go Sox! Let's get 200 tonight Tim, we are rooting for you!
