Red Sox Minor Lines 6/6: The Minors Spin Madly On

Yes, they were busy drafting yesterday, bringing in the next wave of talent for the Red Sox, but the old guys are playing too.

Pawtucket W 11-3

Box Score

Marco Scutaro: 3-4, 2B
Josh Reddick: 0-3, BB, K
Darnell McDonald: 2-4, 2 2B, K
Lars Anderson: 1-5, 2B, K
Luis Exposito: 2-3, HR, BB
Jose Iglesias: 1-5

Kevin Millwood: 6.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
-Despite by far his best outing on the year, I still wouldn't expect much of anything from Millwood.

Sean Coyle has a bad day for bad reasons after the jump .

Salem L 4-5

Box Score

Kolbrin Vitek: 0-5
-So much for getting back on a good streak.
Reynaldo Rodriguez: 1-4, 2 K

Junichi Tazawa: 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K
-Tazawa seems to have found some of his old stuff. I'd expect a few more starts in Salem or even Portland before he's moved back up, though, if only to get him up to 5+ innings.

Greenville W 6-5

Box Score

Sean Coyle was removed from the game after being bloodied by a ball that ricocheted off his shoulder and into his face. No word yet on damages, but it seems more of a nasty thing than a serious thing.

Brandon Jacobs: 1-4, K
Christian Vazquez: 0-3, BB, 2 K
Henry Ramos: 1-3, BB, K, SB
David Renfroe: 1-4, K
