So, I get the whole "stack the lineup with righties thing"
But is Darnell McDonald really leading off for the Boston Red Sox tonight? Really? I mean, the guy has 21 at bats this year.
This is also one of those games where I really wouldn't mind seeing Carl in center. Oh well...
1. Darnell McDonald, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
4. Kevin Youkilis, 3B
5. David Ortiz, DH
6. Jed Lowrie, SS
7. Carl Crawford, LF
8. Mike Cameron, RF
9. Jarrod Saltalamacchia, C
Clay Buchholz will get the start for the Sox. Hopefully his back is feeling just fine. That was apparently the case last time, and it led to some pretty fine results. He's had five more days of rest thanks to the most recent day off as an added bonus.
Of course, if he's not, we could always go to a pen game. When's the last time they actually did anything?
On the other side of things is David Price, a man who may have taken over for Brett Anderson as "guy I really don't want to see on the mound".
Texas has not been very helpful today, letting the Yankees walk off for another win over the guys who swept us to start the year. So a win today would be very nice, lest we slip back to even in the loss column.
Go Sox!
