According to WEEI's Sam Dykstra, The Red Sox have had to make some changes to their usual rotation after an ill Clay Buccholz was sent home from Fenway Park Saturday.
Tim Wakfield will get the start on Sunday, with Clay's next appearance being moved back to Monday, when he will face the Angels.
Some of the Mariners have had a fair bit of experience against Tim Wakefield, though only Jack Cust and Miguel Olivo have had much real success against his knuckleball. Wakefield has thrown 11 innings for the Red Sox this year over seven games, recording a 5.56 ERA with three homers allowed. He'll have quite the challenge Sunday, when he'll have to attempt to outdo Felix Hernandez.
