There's no question that the Red Sox are one of baseball's most marketable teams to begin with. So when you add in a huge offseason with two of the biggest stars joining Boston, you're going to end up with a club that a lot of people want to see. It's perhaps no surprise, then, that the Sox are getting some major airtime from the national networks.
But eight of the first eleven games? That's something else entirely.
The good news for fans outside the Boston area is that there will be plenty of opportunities to see the team early on. The good news for those inside the are or with one of the various subscription services is that Don, Jerry, and NESN will also be available for all but the weekend games against the Yankees.
