Red Sox Top Prospect Voting #7: Lavarnway Takes Six

Ryan Lavarnway may not necessarily have a position on the field--we'll see about that in the future--but for now, he's got a spot as the sixth best Red Sox prospect.

It was more of the same from Ryan as he rose through the system this year, eventually finishing in Double-A with a good number of hits, walks, and homers. His bat just hasn't slowed down, despite fairly steady promotions, and with just one level left to go, it would be surprising to see it start doing so now.

1. Ryan Kalish, OF

2. Anthony Ranaudo, RHP

3. Jose Iglesias, SS

4. Felix Doubront, LHP

5. Drake Britton, LHP

6. Ryan Lavarnway, C

We're on to #7 now. The one day break for the Super Bowl--yes, that's how I'm going to play that off--means one less day of voting, but people are usually done by the last day anyways.

Same system as before. Recs are votes, prospect profiles can be found here, vote away!
