Game 135: Pale Hose @ Crimson Stockings -- September 4, 2010

New, comments

I understand the Red Sox are playing a baseball game tonight. But that's probably the only game they will have played tonight. I can't imagine they'd try and play a game after playing an earlier game. That would be be crazy.

Yeah, our bad.

Buchholz couldn't keep the ChiSox scoreless enough to win the first game of the night, while Jed Lowrie and Bill Hall were the only two Red Sox to reach base more than once. Let's see if they can't turn things around in game two. Or at least John Lackey could maybe have an encouraging start? Maybe? He actually struck guys out this last month! And aside from the first game, he didn't walk 'em too much either!

Whoo?

Gavin Floyd, meanwhile, is looking kinda like what we'd hoped Lackey would look like. Can we pay him Lackey's money instead? And then he'll pitch for us? Maybe that'd be cool.
