Whoo! Football!

And Red Sox! I guess!

I know it's not much consolation to the Red Sox' season, but Josh Beckett (who takes the mound today for the Red Sox) hasn't actually been as bad as his ERA looks these last few months. A 4.19 xFIP in July, a 3.55 xFIP in August, and now a 2.50 xFIP so far in September. Maybe he can keep that going in a few hours. It'd sure be nice.
