Game 88: Red Sox @ Blue Jays, July 11 2010

Rubber game time.

After a disappointing loss in which I have no idea what happened (too busy getting rained on like a lot of others), the Sox look to head into the All-Star break on a good note. To do that, they'll have to win what is very likely to be yet another slugfest.

Or maybe walkfest is a better word. After all, the true master is on the mound for the Sox in Daisuke Matsuzaka. Try not to get too depressed, now.

2010 - Daisuke Matsuzaka 5-3 11 11 0 0 0 0 65.0 58 36 34 3 35 54 4.71 1.43

The Jays counter with Jesse Litsch, who might be the worst pitcher to start a game this year based on his numbers. We'll see, but if the Red Sox don't hit this guy, it'll be an incredible failure.

2010 - Jesse Litsch 0-3 5 5 0 0 0 0 24.2 30 20 20 4 9 7 7.30 1.58

Mike Cameron is out of the lineup with a sore wrist after getting plunked in yesterday's game. Pretty standard fair for the hurt Sox.
