Alright, folks, if the Red Sox are going to lose their first series in over a month, it's going to be tonight.
The reason for that is the man starting the game for the Rockies. If the Sox wanted to rebound after a down offensive night on Tuesday, well, Ubaldo Jimenez is not who they were hoping for:
The Sox will oppose him with the generally lackluster John Lackey:
The men tasked with actually getting to Jimenez include David Ortiz tonight, as he gets the start at first base in place of Kevin Youkilis. Otherwise, it's the usual infield cast, with the unpredictable rotation of outfielders coming up Nava-McDonald-Reddick tonight.
Go Sox!
