Game 65: Phillies @ Red Sox, 6/13/10

The Red Sox are thinking sweep going into game three. Tim Wakefield gets the call to the mound to start the game. Would be nice to see a long outing after the pen pitched nine whole innings last night.

2010 - Tim Wakefield 2-4 14 9 0 0 0 0 65.2 72 42 40 10 14 35 5.48 1.31

Opposing him will be Cole Hamels, who can rest easy in the knowledge that giving up five earned in four innings would be a marked improvement over their previous starters, and that a quality start could earn him a parade on his return.

A day after getting beaned in the elbow, Kevin Youkilis will be taking a seat for the second time in three days as Mike Lowell gets the start at first. Daniel Nava gets the call in left field again after his fantastic debut. Cole Hamels might prove a rather more difficult matchup than Joe Blanton, however.
