Last year, Ryan Lavarnway lead the Red Sox' farm system with 21 home runs. It's beginning to look like that might not be enough this year. Lars Anderson, Ryan Kalish, Oscar Tejeda, Dan Butler (the Greenville Catcher), and Darnell McDonald (if you include major league home runs) are all on pace to reach 20 home runs with a full season. But none of them have as many as Lavarnway himself, who sits at 6 through just 15 games--on pace for over 40. Many of them probably won't keep pace, but the Sox are putting on a power show for now.
