The Official Over the Monster Fantasy Baseball League

Do you like baseball? Do you like fantasies? Then the Over the Monster official fantasy baseball league is for you!

/cheesy slogan

SBNation.com and CBSSports.com have entered into this sweet little partnership that allows the SBN baseball blogs to host a free fantasy league to readers. This league is no cost to you. But, more importantly, this league is going to be a ton of fun. Literally a ton of fun.

Want to be a part of the league or -- which is almost as good -- start your own (for a very reduced price)? Then follow the jump.

First, let me pimp the beauty of CBSSports.com:
  • Completely customizable. We have a lot of freedom with this league and I think both the fantastic commish (that'd be this guy) and the team managers (you!) will love it.
  • Live scoring and stats. This is always a huge plus with fantasy leagues and CBSSports.com delivers.
  • Keeper league capability. Perhaps -- after I win the championship, of course -- we will keep our teams and do another year. Gotta' love the keeper leagues.
  • Expert analysis. If you don't follow other players that much, the experts at CBSSports.com will help you out with up-to-date information.
  • Trash talking capability (via live chat/league messenger). We all need this.
  • 14-day free trail. This is if you start your own, cheaper league through this link.

Now, do you want to be part of this league?

In my opinion, I think the best way to do this is for you to e-mail me RBOOTH at OVERTHEMONSTER dot COM and tell me a couple things. First, your OTM screen name. Second, why you want to be in this league.

I don't want to have it be first-come, first-served. I would like to reward some community members that have been around awhile and are big parts of the community. With that said, just because you're new doesn't mean you won't get in. So if you have any interest at all, please e-mail me. All users interested will be reviewed and we can have a great league.

League settings, draft time and everything else will be discussed once we have a full league. I'm looking at 12 teams right now.

I will reiterate: if you want to play in this league -- which is free to you -- please e-mail me at RBOOTH at OVERTHEMONSTER dot COM and tell me your screen name and why you want to be in the league.

If you want to start your own league for 50 percent off the normal price, follow this link. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks and go Sox!
