Angels @ Red Sox, 9/16/09 - Back End of the 4-5 Punch

The Sox look to extend the 6 game winning streak tonight, taking on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, California, United States of America, Earth, Sol System, Milky Way, Universe. Oh hey, they fall under Red Sox Nation jurisdiction.

Paul Byrd, he of epic postings by Randy, matches up against Joe Saunders tonight, which means we get to see the righty-heavy lineup today. Vic should be back tomorrow, Youk might be held back until Friday, and Paps will be available tomorrow after straining his back last night by slipping in the pen. Also, Wake's not looking good - he's losing strength in his leg as a result of his back injury Do not doubt the power of the spiteful universe: Wake's probably going to pitch this weekend. But, let's focus on tonight, shall we?

Game's on ESPN, for out of market viewers.
