Just a couple days after I question the ability of our "lefty specialist", the Red Sox re-sign Javier Lopez to a one-year, $840,000 contract.
The Red Sox have the money to spare so I don't blame them for signing Lopez. I will blame them though if he continues to be the "feared" LOOGY against left-handed power hitters.
