Bye, bye Bug

The injury bug is basically gone in Red Sox Nation. Let's see how those formerly injured are now faring back on the team:

David Ortiz
19 AB, 6 hits, .316 BA, .458 OBP, .632 SLG, 1 HR, 6 RBI
Ortiz is probably hotter than where he left off. Is he still an MVP candidate? I think so, but it'll hurt now that he's not a team in a playoff race. Ortiz will continue to pound the ball until there are no more balls to be hit.

Manny Ramirez
16 AB, 2 hits, .125 BA, .263 OBP, .188 SLG, 0 HR, 1 RBI
Unlike Ortiz, Manny hasn't been as fortunate after his knee troubles. Manny needs to find the groove because he's an MPV candidate also.

Alex Gonzalez
20 AB, 1 hit, .050 BA, .050 OBP, .100 SLG, 0 HR, 0 RBI
Ehhh...

Trot Nixon
17 AB, 3 hits, .176 BA, .333 OBP, .235 SLG, 0 HR, 1 RBI
See: Alex Gonzalez

Jason Varitek
16 AB, 3 hits, .188 BA, .316 OBP, .438 SLG, 1 HR, 2 RBI
At least he's showing power...
