- Francona estimates Trot's return to around September 1st. He's also checking on Foulke today and if he looks OK he should be activated on Friday.
- Placido Polanco might miss the rest of the season for the Tigers. The injury sustained from his weird leap yesterday is severe.
- Verlander doesn't like Sox much. Against the ChiSox this season, he has an insane 9.88 ERA. Let's hope his difficulty with socks also applies to red ones. If not, we might be in for a rough night since his ERA against the rest of the league is an equally insane, but at the other end of the spectrum, 2.20.
