- Craig Breslow has been recalled from Pawtucket, Corky Miller has been DFA'd. We're going through catchers like [insert clever pop-culture joke here...]. Breslow has a 3.00 ERA in 35 appearances in Pawtucket. He's pitched 1.2 major league innings for us this year, against the A's, and did so without allowing a run.
- Manny's hitting streak is at 0
- The Tigers were swept by the Chi-Sox and have lost five straight.
- Coco keeps batting leadoff. It looks like he might be there to stay... again.
- Oh, and also, if Breslow does alright, I'm a genius. In yesterday's open thread, I commented on that it would be nice to see Breslow again, considering his success in AAA and that his major league appearance was good. Theo clearly read my comment and acted accordingly. Or something like that.
