The Boston Red Sox have assigned outfielder Gabe Kapler to the Portland Sea Dogs from Extended Spring Training. Kapler will wear uniform # 44 and will be active for Portland's doubleheader against the Altoona Curve on Thursday, June 8th at 6:00 PM at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine. Outfielder Matt Van Der Bosch was placed on the disabled list.
Would it be too hard to drive up to Portland tomorrow and get some tickets?
