After the week he's had, I'd call this result optomistic. I think there's more than a good chance that this is KF's last year in Boston, especially with several young power arms waiting in Pawtucket. If he can indeed put up numbers like the ones above, I'll be very very happy. Until he shows that these injections are not inhibiting his ability to pitch, and pitch well, I'll be concerned heading in to the season.
