There's no more to be said about last night's game. I said what I had to say. Today it is a new day, and today we get to see Jonathan Papelbon (0-0, 3.38 ERA) once again.

I'm really excited for this game. I haven't been this excited for a game since -- well, July 31st, when Papelbon last pitched. We, as Red Sox Nation, need to get excited after what happened last night, and I believe Papelbon will do it for us tonight.

Papelbon (who, according to non-DFA'd Tom Caron, likes to be called Jonathan) looks to earn his first as a major leaguer tonight. In 5 innings since pitching Boston, he has not allowed a run in relief appearances in Boston.

Nate Robertson (5-10, 4.10 ERA) gets the call for Detroit. Robertson went 7 innings while giving up three runs in his last start.

Kevin Youkilis FINALLY gets a start tonight:
