Open Thread: 7/15/05 vs NYY

It just doesn't get any easier when we face the Yankees, does it?

David Wells (6-5, 5.00 ERA) was suspended 6 games today for his incident in Toronto two weeks back. But he's appealing and he'll be the starter tonight for the Sox. The Yankees send out Padres-reject Tim Redding (0-5, 9.10 ERA) who makes his first start as a Yankee. Knowing our luck that we've had lately, he'll go 7 innings and give up three hits. Hopefully I'm wrong.

The lineups are the same tonight except Ruben Sierra is the designated hitter for the Yankees. The Red Sox send out their usual A-lineup.
