I saw a little blurb in yesterday's Sports Weekly that said that San Diego is trying to get their hands on Bill Mueller, but have failed so far. They want cut their ties with Sean Burroughs who hasn't developed the power that they were hoping for.

Has anyone heard any further rumors about this? Anyone know any of the names that were discussed?

I'm not sure if I'd like this trade. Sure, I'd love to see Youk starting at third, but who would back him up? Ramon Vazquez? Mark Bellhorn? Shawn Wooten? That's not something I'd like to see.
