Last night's game was rained out, so J-Go and Pineiro are on the hill today at 12 eastern.
BIG NEWS: Blaine Neal was designated for assingment and Cla Meredith was promoted from Pawtucket to Boston. I really like this move, but I don't want to rush Meredith to the bigs before he is ready. Maybe he'll be great, maybe he'll be a dud (at this point in time). It'll be one or the other, I think.
Update [2005-5-8 19:8:22 by Randy Booth]: I kept this open thread up for the second game too considering there isn't much chatting here on the weekends, but I just wanted to make it known that Cla Meredith is making his first appearance as a Boston Red Sox in relief of John Halama in the sixth inning in a 2-2 game. Let's go Cla!
