Yesterday was ugly. Flat out ugly. (Game Summary)

Bronson Arroyo was touched up for seven runs in just 2.2 innings. We couldn't even touch Rodrigo Lopez, who lasted 8 innings and gave up only one run (unearned).

There were only three real bright spots last night: Johnny Damon had two hits. John Olerud had two hits, maintaining his average at .455. And John Halama was great in relief of Arroyo, pitching 4.1 innings without even giving up a hit.

Tonight it's Wade Miller (1-1, 6.16 ERA) in his fifth game of the season for the Sox against 24-year old Daniel Cabrera (4-3, 5.30) who hopefully won't recreate Lopez's performance of last night.

We've lost our fire from the Yankees series, but hopefully Cabrera can do us a favor and get us back into the swing of things.

Lineup Notes:
Ramirez gets the day off. Payton starts in left. Nixon will hit fourth in Ramirez's normal spot.
