The Sox are home and we get to face a Baltimore Orioles team that is currently struggling, losing 6 of their last 10 games, including being swept by the Detroit Tigers last series.

Bronson Arroyo (4-1, 3.19 ERA) is taking the mound for the Sox. "The Red Sox Killer" Rodrigo Lopez (3-2, 4.41) is on the hill for the Orioles.

It will be interesting to see how Edgar Renteria plays. Can he continue his hot streak? And it's Manny Ramirez's birthday today, but according to the pre-game show he's a .107 hitter on his birthday.

John Olerud is hitting seventh and playing first base tonight. Ramon Vazquez gets a game in also, as he's starting at second base and hitting 9th in place of Mark Bellhorn.

The Sox get a break with Sal Fasano catching for the Orioles, with Javy Lopez on the disabled list.
