Hanley for Howard?

During the game yesterday my friend and I were thinking about the first base solution. Obviously no one ever wants to see Dave McCarty have to pick up a bat. Ever. And Millar is a free agent at the end of the year. So even the if the Sox insist on having McCarty on the roster this year, they're going to need a real first baseman next year.

What do you guys think about moving Hanley Ramirez for Ryan Howard of the Phillies? I believe that we're going to end up moving Ramirez either way. It's mostly just a hunch, but I don't see him with the organization come August. So instead of going after a rent-a-player go after a guy who could help us off the bench this year and could take over the starting job at first next year. Howard has huge power potential and could give us our first real first baseman since Vaughn.
