Food for Thought

Here's something to chew on.

Thoughts? It's pretty interesting to see the stats. Oddly enough Mike Port, a former member of the Red Sox, is behind all of this madness. My favorite quote is this one:

"As a society, we have a tendency to overanalyze and to gravitate to things that really aren't there."

Personally, it sounds like he's trying to cover something up. Conspiracy? We'll never know I guess. We'll see what develops.

IN OTHER NEWS!
-Mike Timlin is expected to be one of the first Red Sox players to be resigned this off-season, according to the Boston Herald. I don't think he will be as effective as he was this season, but to be that good is asking a lot. He'll still be a solid reliever.

-Theo Epstein and the ownership are still a ways away on a contract. Epstein will want some Billy Beane-type money, and though it may not be exactly that, he'll get a good chunk of change -- hopefully.
