Dustin Pedroia had one helluva season in 2007 but can he do it again? There's a lot of pressure riding on his shoulders because everyone wants him to repeat. It'd be hard for him to do it, but what does Red Sox Nation think?

What's amazing is that in 520 ABs last season Scrabby Doo struck out only 42 times, and walked only 47 times. The man is a contact machine!

Why do we project ABs? They're no more arbitrary than Runs or RBIs.

ABs are arbitrary, but you can use them to project time missed to injury. They're also less about how good the other players are on your team than RBIs or Runs. Although if the whole team has a high OBP then individual players will get more plate appearances.

CS: 2 (Pedroia has no speed. He only had 1 CS last year, but I swear he was cut down in plenty of aggressive basestealing / scoring from 2nd plays.)
