OT: Twins @ Red Sox, 3.2.08
Three games in and we're still facing those dang Twins. Hey, at least we've won the first two, right?
Tim Wakefield takes the mound for the Sox in the finale today. Livan Hernandez gets the nod for the Twins.
Sox lineup:
Crisp, cf
Pedroia, 2b
Ortiz, dh
Ramirez, lf
Lowell, 3b
Drew, rf
Youk, 1b
Lugo, ss
Mirabelli, c
And if anyone is around for this open thread (I know, it's a Sunday), I'd like to hear some suggestions about what to change about open threads once the regular season rolls around. I'm always looking to improve OTM so any suggestions are welcome.

Coco just bobbled a sliding catch to give up a double. I think it was charged as an error, but I'm not sure.

Clay's back in for the fourth inning. Still 4-1.
And they're showing Wake's press conference--he says he felt good in today's outing, and wants to give the team 200 innings this year.

"Tessie" is playing over the PA system. I'm homesick for Fenway.

He and Buch both have a case of haven't-pitched-in-months-itis, imo. They'll get some oil in those gears and be working fine soon.
