Clemens

I just read some excerpts from his upcoming interview on CBS.

Clemens claims he was only injected with "legal" stuff --B12 & lidocaine. Someone needs to remind him no one bought that argument when Bonds & Sheffield claimed they didn't know what they were using.

What would be the trainer's motivation to inject Clemens with illegal substances ? Or is Clemens saying he was never injected with illegal stuff with or without his knowledge. I get a headache trying to fgure it out.

The only thing to remember when trying to figure out Roger's defense to steroid use is that he DESPERATELY wants to be in the hall of fame. He feels he has already earned it!!!

All of his remarks, excuses, interviews etc are for the expressed purpose of clouding voter's judgement to make him somehow appear a victim.

The best part of this whole saga was that Clemens said a few years ago that he wanted to go into the Hall of Fame as a Yankee. He reminded everyone that afterall, it was with the Yankees that he won 2 World Series rings.

Now Roger's screwed. He certainly won't get in as a documented Yankee steroid user. His best hope is to get in based on his carrer with the Red Sox-- a team he had grown accustomed to criticizing.

At this point Roger will probablly not get in at all.
We are witnessing the end game of a very desperate man.
Expect contradiction on top of lies from this point forward

Kinda sad and kinda sweet if you're a Sox fan.
