Game Story: An Unlikely, nay, Impossible Hero.

Doug Mirabelli says Bobby Doerr can shove it. This is HIS f'in day.

Blinks, then falls over dead.

Speechless. This is a parallel universe. Or at least it was, until the real Dougie showed up with that comedic baserunning blunder (well, it's comedic now). Then real Dougie went away again so the good one could knock in a go-ahead run.

Good Wake made yet another appearance, earning his 13th win with a solid 7 IP, 6 H, BB, 5 K line. Oki did his thing in the 8th, while Gagne ended up being the victim of (the sun?/poor fielding?), instead of logging his first scoreless inning as a member of the Sox pen.

Tito. The lineup. This lineup. Golden. And as you insert the regulars back in, feel free to leave it the same (okay, maybe flip J.D. and 'Tek) by position. Despite not notching one today, I like Crisp in an RBI spot.

It's Dougie's day.

None today. Also: Anyone who isn't Doug Mirabelli.
