Good news! You can watch today’s Red Sox game versus the Nationals, if you have an MLB.tv subscription, on MASN. If you do, you’ll see Eduardo Rodríguez, a suddenly vital part of the Sox rotation, take the hill. E-Rod was the subject of an interesting in-depth article yesterday by Chris Anders, one of our cousins at Beyond the Box Score, which said — in much greater detail than I’ll get into here — that Rodriguez generally changed for the better in 2016, albeit in ways that his home ballpark tends to push back against. It’s really interesting. Go read it.
Here’s today’s lineup:
- Dustin Pedroia, 2B
- Brock Holt, SS \o/
- Mookie Betts, RF
- Hanley Ramírez, DH
- Mitch Moreland, 1B
- Chris Young, LF
- Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
- Pablo Sandoval, 3B
- Blake Swihart, C
SP: E-Rod
The Nationals counter with Bryce Harper batting third and Joe Ross on the mound. Televised baseball! Bring it to me.
