On Monday morning, I started our superlatives series with voting for the Team MVP and the biggest disappointment. The concept is pretty simple. I give you a few names, and you vote for which one you think will be the winner for any given award by the end of the season. We’re continuing that with two more today, the first of which being Best Pitcher.
Luckily for me, this one doesn’t require much explanation. When the Red Sox are hoisting the World Series trophy (ya know, hopefully), who will we look back at as the team’s best pitcher in 2017? There is an obvious choice here, and he’s also the newest pitcher on the team. Of course, we would’ve said the same last year and another pitcher ended up winning the Cy Young for the whole damn American League. Anything can happen. As with the previous entries, if you think someone else should be included let me know and I’ll get them up in the poll as soon as possible.
